We didn't really plan the trip it just sort of happened. We left Challans and were on our way to Switzerland!
Having been confined and with limited travelling for about 18 months it was a bit daunting leaving the Vendée. But we loaded the camping car and were off, first stop - the Schlumpf car museum in Mulhouse.
I don't tend to drive the van very often, I usually sleep (it's a 10 hour drive). This time however, I stayed awake for the whole journey. Everything was beautiful - the fields, the hills, the houses, the churches and castles in the edge of the roads, I even found beauty in the majestic electric pylons stretching into the distance.
Photos don't do the views justice, and as I'm not particularly artistic all those beautiful images will just have to stay in my head.
